Championship Weekend

Squirt Division

Number One Star: James Davignon, Forward, Natick Chill

Scored twice, including game-winner, to lead Gold Cup win as Chill cap perfect season. 

Number Two Star: Andrew Dowd, Forward, Marlboro Thunder

Led the division in scoring on Championship Sunday with four goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in the Thunder’s Silver Cup Championship win.

Number Three Star: Ryan Moriarty, Goaltender, South Middlesex Coyotes

One goal against as he stymied the Chill’s division best offense in 25 minutes played for Coyotes, starting in their Gold Cup loss.

 

Peewee Division

Number One Star: Chris Wilson, Goaltender, Boston Brahmas

Shutdown Stingrays offense to lead the Brahmas to a Gold Cup Championship, giving up just one goal, playing the game’s first two periods.

Number Two Star: Joseph Scolaro, Forward, Boston Brahmas

A dominating, physical presence throughout the Brahmas Gold Cup victory over the North Shore Stingrays, leading the Boston offense with two goals scored.

Number Three Star: Connor Quinlan, Forwards, South Middlesex Coyotes

All-Star forward paced Silver Cup winning offense with two goals, including game winner, and one assist, factoring into all but one of the Coyotes goals.

 

Bantam Division

Number One Star: Brendan McLaughlin, Goaltender, South Shore Sabercats

Sabercats goalie shutout the Stingrays over 40 minutes played to lead the South Shore defense to a Gold Cup win.

Number Two Star: Scott Parrish, Forward, South Shore Sabercats

Led Gold Cup Championship in scoring, assisting on three of five goals for the Sabercats.

Number Three Star: Dylan Tivnan, Forward, Southeastern Grizzlies

Scored game-winning goal as the 10th seeded Grizzlies capture the Silver Cup Championship.

 

Varsity Division

Number One Star: Mark Scribner and Shane Mason, Goaltenders, North Shore Stingrays

The two goaltenders combined to post two shutouts as the Stingrays did not yield a goal en route to the Varsity Gold Cup title.

 

Number Two Star: Jonathan Andrews, Forward, North Shore Stingrays

Led Gold Cup Championship offense with two goals and two assists, factoring into all but one of the Stingrays’ goals in the title game.

 

Number Three Star: Tyler Gardiner, Forward, South Middlesex Coyotes

Credited with game-winner as Coyotes upset Thunder in the finals for the second straight year.
